ITC Delays Decision in 4-ADPA/6PPD Case

The US International Trade Commission has extended the deadline for deciding whether to institute a patent infringement investigation in the ongoing case between Flexsys (a subsidiary of Solutia) and Korea Kumho Petrochemical and Sinorgchem Co. Shandong. The case involves production technology for 4-ADPA, a feedstock for 6PPD rubber antidegradants. The decision was delayed by 30 days, from June 11 to July 11.
