Schulman realignment will close Nashville plant

A. Schulman, Inc. has announced a realignment in its North American Engineered Plastics business to meet the requirements of the high-value-added compounding market. Schulman will close its Nashville, TN plant and distribute manufacturing to production lines in Akron and Bellevue, Ohio.

Cabot Corporation to increase inkjet production in the United States

Cabot Corporation will invest $10 million to increase production capacity at its inkjet facility in Haverhill, Massachusetts by the end of 2012. The expansion, which started earlier this year, will enable Cabot to increase the capacity of its CAB-JET color pigment dispersion and polymer product lines by 100 percent.
